Hello Herleik Vågslid, are you sure value of Tag on PLC not change out of range on trend, like >70 or < -30? I think , the problem is not in Trend. Maeby the problem is in PLC( logic to convert in temperature), or sensor.

Before few monts, i haven the same problem, but after restart, simulation was ok. I started your project on my TIA Portal and simulation worked correct.. Check version of WinCC or license. Also try start TIA Portal like Administrator. I don't have other idea.

Hello, Unfortunately, you don't have a choice, because you don't have the original project. You must config hardware manualy, and check every signal. I am not sure, what will happen if put SMC in new CPU and try to upload to TIA Portal v13. If you wish and can, you can try to "Hardware detection" or "Detection of the device configuration" from "Online" menu.

Hello Frank Christiansen, You can create FB to simulate Tank Level. Basicaly this FB will have 2 inputs[Real] (Charge and Discharge), and 1 Output [Real](Tank Level). The logic in this FB you have to create to fill, and unfill tank. For Example: TankLevel := TankLevel+Charge-Discharge. When Call this FB, you have to connect TankLevel to tag "Sensor Level", Charge to PID"s output, and Discharge you can control manualy. With this FB, you will have block, which you can simulate Tank, and use to check PID regulator. I hope to understand me what i means.

@mcendron are you sure, do you have communication between Simulator and PLC ? Did you enable PUT/GET communication? Try to force outputs and check the movement of the conveyor or cylinders.
