[SOLVED] laser scanner

Hi guys,

I want to use a laser scanner as protective dvice (the model of the device :PILZ.6D000001).It has two output signals (OSSD1 & OSSD2) should i consider this like the door contacts for connection?

Hi Abbas Nazari,  i think, you must use SFDOOR function block.

I have tested with SFDOOR and its working as expected.bus i had to desable the (Short-circuit test activated).

yes thats correct. my question is, which type of fail safe function block is better to use for this propose?

The two OSSDs will output 24Vdc when circuit is healthy (safe) and OVdc when an object is detected.
