Cascade regulation, when one pump maxes out, you start the next, so on and so forth. You should also alternate which pump is being used as the main pump to make sure they're all being used the same amount of time.
Does the second and third pump need to go smooth to same pressure as the current running pump, or do you need to slow down the first pump and start the second to the same running speed?
